Its The Stuff You Want

So, tonight’s episode of Burn Notice introduced a new operative, Victor, who is a jerk! He enjoys having a higher status (if only mental) over Michael and seems to be a little power hungry. Though I enjoyed him as another frenemy of Michael, I wonder how this “relationship” will grow. I like when they go at it, with with Michael’s wit and “charm”. It had some surprising moments involving Victor where Michael’s cover is almost blown, showing Victor’s cockyness and obvious I mean business attitude. I don’t know if they are trying to work this guy into the story, but he is worse than Carla and definitely going to prove to be very troublesome for Michael while doing his civic spy duty in helping people with “special” problems.

Otherwise, this episode was entertaining as always, with Bruce or “Sam” shacking up with Michael’s mother and cooking! I sense a romance? That would be weird though,  but would make for some very interesting awkward moments between Michael and Sam and Michael’s mom. Madeline even went on a fake fed stakeout (unbeknownest to her), and she managed to “comfort” Sam in his heartbreak regarding that lady he was with. Also Sam’s rant at Method Man was hilarious! He tries to ”explain” to Method Man that hip hop is what is wrong with this world, and uses of hip hop ”slang”. Also, Fi’s insistance that she needs new shoes throughout the whole episode added to her wonderful charm (Didn’t she have an Irish Accent last season….?). She even asks the client if he can get a discount on his company’s clothing line when Michael leaves her to calm him down. I love Fi. Overall, this episode was pretty good, but started a little heavy into the whole client thing. I almost got lost figuring out what the heck was happening.

 By the way, I did read that Jeffry Donovon isn’t doing his own stunts anymore, which I can tell because there hasn’t been much crazy stunts going on with him. Aww!
